Howdy, Bryan!
I've been looking over the tools in s4c for adjusting the desktop settings and can't find a way to hide the panel/tray at the bottom of the desktop. Usually this is done under desktop/tray/hiding settings in the menu, or under "jwm settings", but I haven't found that option here. Does it not exist, or am I just missing that because I'm using a netbook? I always hide it so I have more room. Perhaps I can edit the file on the partition....
Also, AOGOS seems to work really well so far on my desktop machine. I haven't tried the networking out yet on that, so I'll let you know how that goes, too. The bible apps I've tried are nice. I think a lot of folks are going to like this.
As for AOG on the netbook, it's a no-go. It can't find any screens in xconf when I try to run it there. I might have to manually edit that file to allow that resolution as well. For that matter, I might be able to copy/paste the appropriate parts out of s4c into the AOGOS to make X work properly. I haven't done that before (never had to), although I'm told it can be done. I did, after all, get this netbook to play with and tinker. I've already spent almost as much on memory upgrades as I did for the netbook itself, not to mention all the OS-swapping I've done! It's too cute to ignore, although we both know that everyone won't be using such a netbook, some preferring the more common laptop instead. You should be aware that I have yet to get ANY Slackware 13.x to run on my netbooks, so there may be an issue out of our control there. Just wanted to let you know what I've found so far. Later, dude! Gotta' go visit someone...
